Hope IS God Alone

Hey Guys!

    Today we learned that our Dad will be in the hospital until the 26th-28th. They doctors plan to keep the antifungal medication and other medications going during that time. They want to get on top of this stubborn infection, get his blood counts up, and get our Daddy able to function on his own! 

    Once he is discharged from the hospital, he will have to go back "X" amount of times for more infusions of medication and blood. It will be a while before the word "Transplant" will be used because it will take many days for him to heal from this pneumonia.

    

    This is definitely the long haul for our Daddy! We pray that it goes by quickly and that nothing bad or detrimental happens! We also pray for complete healing of all this and endurance for the journey we are on and the road ahead we cannot see. 

    

    We are counting down the days!! The three of us girls miss our Daddy so much and long to hug him again, refill his coffee mugs, pick out his shirt for the day, hear his funny "Dad" jokes, and see him smile again in person- not just through a phone screen, smell his beard balm when we kiss his prickly cheek, and just feel the comfort of knowing he is home safe and sound with us!💕

    These are the words to the chorus of the song, "Even If" by the group MercyMe. That is a blessing that God has given us the gift these words say! The words here are truly a comfort to us during this time, and if you have never heard this song- we erg you to do so! We read these words daily to help us remember, God is with us and loves us so much! Our hope IS God alone!!
