Hey Ya'll! Happy 4th of July!!
Today was kind of bittersweet for the three of us girls. Why? Well, our Daddy is still in the hospital and it was strange to celebrate this Independence Day without him and our Mom with us...but, it was also sweet because we have a super amazing big sister and brother-in-law who took us under their wings today and made it magical!
We had a BLAST (don't mind the pun! haha) shooting off bottle rockets, smoke bombs, sparklers, and eating delicious food at their picnic table! What an amazing cook our sister is! Burgers, hotdogs, watermelon, corn on the cob, and cheese cake (made by our very own Isabella!) were our holiday meal, and it totally made us thankful to be Americans!!
We felt so blessed to see our little nephew get excited over each smoke bomb and each explosion, but he was the cutest tonight at the big firework show we went to! There is nothing like fireworks on the 4th ya'll! And watching them in the country is even better! Those vibrant colors lit up the sky and our eyes glowed with each loud BOOM!! What a show!
Yes we had a great day, and we hope our Dad and Mom will be with us next year, but for now we are reminded everyday that God is good!! Next Independence Day is in His control just like today! We hope you had an amazing holiday!
