Hey Ya'll!
On June 14th, our dad began chemo. You can read about his blood cancer story here.
He is still working, but has had a rough 2 weeks. Aside from being chronically tired, he now has lower platelet and WBC counts requiring transfusions of those as well. He has been receiving red cell transfusions for over two years and yesterday received his first platelet transfusion as well. This has been rough on us all. But our dad is a trooper!
This morning his headache was so bad...he took it slow and managed to still do inventory at his job and then came home and crashed. He is our hero!
