Because He Lives!

Hey Ya'll!

    As of today, our dad has been in the hospital for 8 days. He was originally admitted for neutropenic fever because the Chemo made his red and white blood cells and platelets drop to critical levels. We came to find out that our Daddy has pneumonia. What kind of pneumonia is what the doctors are running tests on. We will keep you updated! 

    Our Daddy's 02 levels are at 6L and he has a awful cough that keeps him awake at night. With the amounts of antibiotics and antifungal meds they have pumped him with, the doctors said the probability of him coming home soon is slim. The meds cause him to not be hungry, but they are managing to get him to eat to keep his strength up.

    Because we cannot go see him, we text him everyday that we love him and he even was able to video call the three of us! He was unable talk due to his cough, but he smiled and wanted to see all we have been up to!

      The good news is that during all of this our Daddy's spirits are high and positive!💞 He is hanging in there, and so are we as we hope he gets better soon! What a blessing! The three of us girls can honestly tell you it is because of our Father's (and our!) faith in Jesus that is getting us through this! "Because He Lives, I Can Face Tomorrow". What amazing words that our family is holding on to, and such a gift that even though we girls are still teenagers we can say that we have a Father in heaven that is going to help us during this time with our Daddy!! Thank you, Lord!
